The waitress didn't take my order right, I didn't get a fork, the food was old, they couldn't make me a canole, too many fly's in the restaurant, my hubby and I were fighting them off, just to try to eat, never got my drink. I didn't tip the waitress, service was poor.

I thought the lunch menu was reasonable, albeit, no beer. It also took an excessively long 25 minutes for a grilled cheese sandwich. I suggested that the place be renamed "The Copper Cock" on account of the large copper cock that stands proud and erect on the floor of the Copper Hen, one that both male and female patrons can't help but stroke gently and lovingly upon passing. This suggestion and logic encountered great resistance and was greeted with arched eyebrows among the servers and clientele alike whereby a spontaneous consensus broke out among them directing me to a small tavern bar down the street, Jammerz.

The food is delicous. Flavorful, fresh and perfectly cooked. The food has a light feel to it, but it's very filling. Cheap prices! Where else can you get a lobster Mac n cheese for ~$11. They don't serve alcoholic beverages, but you are welcome to bring your own.

The waitresses were very friendly and attentive despite how busy the restaurant was when we entered. The decor was nice- casual and roomy. Quaint signage entertains while waiting. High stools are a bit cumbersome but they fit the feel of the place. Food is freshly made as are the baked goods. Overall nicely done!

Based on one visit. Offers a large variety of sandwiches for lunch. BLT on wheat or sourdough and Italian bomber quite good. For sides, potato salad good, fruit did not seem fresh and was left unfinished. Caprese salad was excellent, with fresh beefsteak tomatoes and really good balsamic vinegar and avocado; pesto was a nice added touch. They also served a small cookie, lagniappe, with each sandwich. The cookies were outstanding, highly recommended. Good friendly service you would expect from a small-town cafe.
