We stayed 3 nights over this past weekend. The owner, wife and staff were all very friendly and efficient. Every time we came back from breakfast our beds were made, new rolls of t.p. and shampoos. The room was very clean, great blackout curtains, fridge, microwave, comfy bed and nice new looking bathroom with a very spacious shower. They exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be staying again. Thank you for a wonderful stay :)

Just tried to rent a room here its 11:30 pm they advertise $38. A night but told me the room would be between$50-$60 tonight.
Very nice and helpful staff. The manager personally showed me to the room and encouraged me to contact him should I need anything. The room was always cleaned when I returned from work. Pretty quiet and comfortable experience overall. I would defiantly recommend this motel. It's not the Hilton, but the again, if that's what you're expecting, you're in the wrong town. We earn our money here and the El Rey Motel makes sure their rates are what the working man can afford. As for cleanliness, not a bug in sight..inside or out.
I've stayed here many times in the past year and my experience is consistent. The management is excellent, the rooms are clean and well kept, and the price is right.
